Library Basics - Online Edition

Need to find resources for your paper or project? Here's a quick guide that will introduce you to some of the basic resources that you can use for your paper or project. This Online Edition focuses on just the resources that the library provides online.

Search box and Research Databases

  • If you choose Research Databases, you'll see a list of databases that you can choose from. See the Choosing a Database guide to help you with this decision. Using the Articles search will allow you to do a search in all our EBSCO databases.
  • If you are off campus or have not yet logged in while off campus, you'll be taken to Bethel's login page. Simply enter your Bethel username and password, and you should get in. You'll only need to this once in a day.
  • If you used the library's search box, you'll see your search results. If you used Research Databases, you'll see the databases search box and will need to perform your search.
  • After performing your search and seeing your results, you may need to do a few more things:
  • Once you access your article, you may either print or save the document.
  • The Citation page can help you in figuring out how to cite what you found.
